The staff quickly resolved a clogged basin in our room, and I appreciated having easy access to a water dispenser nearby. The breakfast showcased delightful local Taiwanese dishes and was served hot, a lovely touch.

I loved the clean and warm room that felt like a cozy getaway! The hotel's excellent infrastructure made accessing the fine cypress forest a breeze. Plus, having parking right outside was a game changer for us, especially since day visitors had to park far away.

this place is an absoluteley disgrace. the hot water has a schedule, which is just ludicrous, and I could hear everything from the hallway. I woudl ve been pleased with just a room change for the inconvenience, but that was clearly too much to ask. don't waste your time and money here, you can thank me later.

The location was incredibly convenient for exploring Alishan.

During my stay in the twin room, I was disappointed by the poor soundproofing. I could hear every conversation in the hallway and even the flushing of toilets from adjacent rooms. Additionally, the bathroom was hazardous, with water constantly on the floor, making it very slippery. The lack of hot water during parts of the day added to my frustration, and the staff's inability to communicate in English made addressing these issues even more challenging.

The room is cramped, lacking basic furnishings like a chair or table!!! Bathing in a tub without a shower curtain makes for a slippery hazard. Wall coverings show signs of wear, leading to unpleasant odors in the space!!!

The location near Alishan Forest Recreation Area is fantastic for exploring. Our room had a leaking sink tap, causing a damp bathroom floor.

Choose a room on a higher floor for reduced noise from the hallway and better privacy during your stay.

Those homemade pies and jams at breakfast were absolute game-changers! Picture this, a cozy spot enjoying steaming local dishes while fueled with fresh flavors, totally unmissable! Oh, and let's not forget, the location was totally prime, making it super easy to hit up Alishan National Park.

The room is a bit run down. You actually have to stand inside the bathtub to shower, which can be a slippery adventure getting in and out when wet. Still, it had its charm!

Decent Stay with Room for Improvement

The twin room met our basic needs, but the poor soundproofing made it difficult to relax. The staff were helpful, which was a plus. If you’re visiting Alishan, consider packing earplugs and plan meals at nearby eateries for a more enjoyable experience.

gau shan ching surprised me with a nice bath tub in my double room! it's conveniently located near the alishan forest recreation area, making it easy to explore. i also enjoyed the herb pack for a soothing aromatic bath during my stay.

Free Wi-Fi was reliable, but room smelled unpleasant. Located near hiking trails.
